Louise-Happiness of Kéralio

Louise-Happiness Guynement de Kéralio (born the August 27th 1756 with Paris and dead the December 31st 1821 with Brussels) is a woman of letters and feminist resulting from the Breton minor nobility. It is the girl of Louis Felix Guynement de Kéralio and Francoise Abeille.

Before the Revolution

It had been retained a long time in a life of labor. Louis Félicité is only 16 years old when it launches out in the literary career by translating, in 1772, the new extracts of the memories of the Academy of Sienne.Formée by a father man of letters, professor at the Military academy, it much had translated, compiled, writes even a great history, that of the time former to the Stuarts of mistress Macaulay, the history of the reign of Elisabeth I {{E}} of England.

It was member of the patriotic Breton company of Rennes (since 1786 or 1787) and of the Academy of Arras, of which it was it only female member. She was elected in this Academy on February 3rd, 1787.

Maximilien de Robespierre accepted this " féministe" whereas it chaired the Academy of Arras (1785).

Under the Revolution

August 13rd, 1789, Louise de Kéralio founds, in Paris, the Journal of State and the Citizen . Louise is the first woman has to be an editor association of a newspaper.

She married a patriot burning than distinguished, the cordelier Pierre-François-Joseph Robert. Under the Revolution it animated the " Companies of femmes" , the fraternal Company of the one and the other sex which played a part in the revolutionary climate. It made write with her husband, dice January 1791: Républicanisme adapted to France , it made spend much money with her husband for the publication of this newspaper. It was reproduced in first line on the furnace bridge of the Fatherland, in the terrible day of the July 17th 1791 (Fusillade of Field-of-March).

It was very dependant with Georges Jacques Danton and Camille Desmoulins, (Lucile Desmoulins hardly liked it).
