Louisa May Alcott

Louisa May Alcott (November 29th 1832 with Germantown in Pennsylvania - March 6th 1888 with Boston) is an American, known novelist especially for its novel Little Women or the Four Girls of Doctor March .

Biography

Raised by an educational father and philosopher, and by Henry David Thoreau, it also has as a Master Ralph Waldo Emerson. She writes tales as of her more young age and, as of sixteen years, she writes its first book, Fables of flowers . She also publishes a book on her experiment of nurse during the American Civil War, and a first novel in 1864. Three years later, it agrees to direct a children's paper and to compose a history for the young readers, Little Women or the Four Girls of Doctor March , appeared in 1868, table of the American life in second half of the 19th century. The book gained a so sharp success that it published a continuation Good of it wives or the girls of Doctor March marry in 1869.
Deux other books also exist: the dream of OJ March and the big family of OJ March .

Its models were his/her parents, his/her sisters, his/her friends of New England and Europe.
Elle had been painted accurately, says one, under the features of OJ.
Son diary and its correspondence were also published. It is interesting to note that, at the beginning of its career, parallel to its books for the children, Louisa May Alcott also wrote to Gothic black novels under the pseudonym of A.M. Barnard.
