Louis of Own way-Merry

Louis of Lorraine or Own way , born the January 11th 1622, died in Paris the September 24th 1654, was duke of Merry of 1647 with 1654 and prince de Joinville in 1654. It was wire of Charles Ier, duke of Own way, and Henriette Catherine of Merry.
It accepted the load of Large-Chamberlain of France in 1644. His/her mother gave him Joyeuse in 1647, then Joinville in 1654.
He married with Toulon the November 3rd 1649 Francoise de Valois (1631 † 1696), duchess of Angouleme, girl of Louis Emmanuel de Valois, duke of Angouleme, and Henriette of Guiche. Contrary to what is sometimes noted, he was not duke of Angouleme, his father-in-law being mourt in 1683, twenty years after its clean dead. Louis and Francoise had two children:
- Louis Joseph (1650 † 1671), duke of Own way and Merry, prince de Joinville
- Catherine Henriette (1651 † 1656)
