Louis de Tarente

Louis de Tarente , born in 1308, died in 1362, king de Naples of 1347 with 1362, wire of Philippe Ier of Anjou, prince de Tarente, and Catherine de Valois-Courtenay.
He was the lover of the queen Jeanne Ire of Naples, took part in the assassination of her husband André of Hungary and married the queen, becoming thus king de Naples.
May 23rd 1352, day of the Pentecost, Louis de Tarente and Jeanne Ière were crowned with sovereign Naples Royaume of Sicily. To sit his capacity, Louis de Tarente created this same day, the chivalrous Order of the Saint Spirit to the Right Desire, also called Ordre of the Node
Hardly crowned, Louis Large the, king de Hongrie invades the kingdom of Naples to avenge his/her brother. The Neapolitan troops, not very trustful, deserted, and the royal couple escaped in Provence. Louis of Hungary having left Naples, Louis de Tarente and Jeanne returned to Italy and undertook to reconquer the kingdom, occupied by the Hungarian soldiers. The war lasted for ever until the moment when the litigation was carried in front of the pope, who sliced in favor of Jeanne in 1350.
