Louis de France (1751-1761)

Louis Joseph Xavier (born the September 13rd 1751 with Versailles - deceased the March 22nd 1761) was a prince of royal blood French of the dynasty of the Bourbons.

Third child and oldest son of the Dolphin Louis and Marie-Josèphe of Saxony, Louis de France was thus the brother of the future kings Louis XVI, Louis XVIII and Charles X. He had been titrated duke of Burgundy by his grandfather, Louis XV.
