Louis de Crillon-Mahon , born in 1718, military French.

It was distinguished in the Seven Year old Guerre; then, complaining about a preferential treatment, it left the service of the France for that of the Spain, became general commander of the Spanish armies during the hostilities of 1780 between the Great Britain and the Spain, began again on the British Mahon and the island Minorque, and in reward was created Duc of Mahon. He died in Madrid in 1796. He left Mémoires , Paris, 1791.
