Louis Vogel

Louis Vogel (1955 -) is a Professor and Juriste French. He is qualified schoolteacher of private law to the Université Paris II the Pantheon-Assas, and was elected, on July 3rd, 2006, President of this same university. He succeeds this station with Jacqueline Dutheil of Rochère.

Formation

Louis Vogel is graduate Institut of Political Studies of Paris (1976), holder of one LL.M. to the Yale Law School (1982), doctor d' État in Right (1985) and aggregate of private law (1988).

Current functions

He teaches there the right of the competition and the European right of the businesses. He is the author of a certain number of reference books as regards French right of competition and the distribution. He is in addition director of the Institute of compared right of Paris and person in charge of Master 2 Recherche Droit compared to like of Master 2 Professional of European Droit of the businesses.

Louis Vogel is member of the steering committee of the Workshops of competition (D.G.C.C.R.F., service of MINEFI) and he is general reporter of the French Association of Study of Competition (A.F.E.C).

Former functions

Louis Vogel is former member of the Champsaur commission for the liberalization of the market of electricity, former member of the Superior council of the Literary property and Artistic (Copresident of the Commission Literary property and artistic and right of competition).
