Career
Louis Versyp arrives at FC Bruges as player in 1926. As of its arrival, it is quoted as international potential whereas it is only 17 years old. Versyp was a modern winger who was not satisfied to offer goals but marked them even too him. It disputes 34 international matches (8 goals) and more or less 250 matches with FC Bruges (150 goals). In 1937, it puts a term at its career of player and joined the technical staff of the club.
After the second world war, he becomes principal trainer of the club. As of its first season, it then gains the title with the club in the second division but the following year, it does not manage to be maintained in division 1. Two years later, it finds more the high level but in 1950, the direction of the club decides not to prolong its contract. It then involves still the Cercle Bruges KSV and the ACE Ostend.
