Louis Pouzin (born in 1931 with Chantenay-Saint-Imbert, Nievre, France) is a Engineer French in Informatique. It was graduate of Polytechnique in 1950.
For Weather France, he works with the programming of the calculator and conceives an operating system which will remain fifteen years in service.
Pouzin is inventor of the Datagramme and originator of the first network with packet switching, essential innovation of the concept of the network Internet. The project Cyclades, and originator of the first forms of Interpreter of orders. Its work was largely used by Vinton Cerf for the development of Internet and the protocol TCP/IP.

Since 2003 Louis Pouzin defends the multilingualism and another governorship of the Internet within the process of (World summit of the Company of Information). Present at all the meetings and Sommets (Geneva, 2003 - Tunis, 2005 - Athens, 2006) it is the pole of expertise on Multiluinguisme in world community Internet.
