Louis Plover

Louis Marie Anne Vaneau (born in 1811, dead the July 29th 1830 with Paris) is a young person polytechnician (X1829 Promotion) dead the July 29th 1830 while charging with the front with the people at the time of the catch of the barracks of Babylon, occupied by the Swiss ones. It is buried with the Cimetière of Montparnasse.

The main courtyard of the Polytechnic school bears its name and, each year, the pupils of the School pay homage to him on July 14th on its tomb.

A street of the 7th district of Paris and a subway station bear its name.
