Louis Pierre Parat de Chalandray

Louis Pierre Parat de Chalandray (1746 - 1836) is a senior official and French politician. He was the last lord of That Saint-Cloud and Bazemont under the Ancien Mode then mayor of Bazemont during 22 years.

He is born with Paris on November 14th, 1746. Resulting from a family from powerful financial, her father is Jerome Louis Parat de Montgeron (1713-1792). He begins his public career like General Receveur of finances of Lorraine and Barrois, load inherited his father. Then he becomes General Receveur of Finances of Orléanais.

Its description in its Certificate of residence, written in January 1795, describes it as follows: cut of 5 feet 5 inches (1,76 m), a little large nose, stops average, round chin, hair châtains, long and oval face, discovered face, eyes châtains.

Its achievements with That Saint-Cloud

Louis Pierre Parat de Chalandray arrives at the That Saint-Cloud by acquiring of the Château of That on February 13rd, 1776. He repurchases it hands of Paul-François de Quelen, more known under the title of duke of Vauguyon, governor of the children of the House of France, of which the Dolphin, future Louis XVI. De Quelen acquired it in 1772, but reverses of fortune force it to resell it prematurely.

Parat de Chalandray will be thus the last lord of That Saint-Cloud of 1776 to 1789. In fact, it is the father-in-law of Parat de Chalandray which finances the purchase for " the use of the good of his/her daughter
