Louis Pierre Ancillon of the Sand pit is the founder in 1745 of the mine of Bitume of Merkwiller-Pechelbronn (the Low-Rhine, Alsace), which then belonged to Antar.
It was interprête of the Ambassadeur of France in Suisse, then treasurer-general of the league of the Suisse cantons and the Grisons.
Together with Jean d' Amascéne Eyrénis, the son of the physicist/erudite Eirini of Eirinis, (which has discovered in 1711 Presta mines of the bitumen to the Valley of Through, Neuchâtel), from the Sand pit obtained a license to seek close to the source Baechel-Brown on the ground in the south of Lampertsloch. In 1740, by the offer of the 40 shares to the Stock Exchange, it created the first companie oil.,
