Louis Pandellé is a Entomologiste French, born on March 1st 1824 with Plaisance and dead the February 27th 1905 with Tarbes.

Pandellé makes its studies with Aire-sur-l'Adour and enters, in 1840, with the royal college of Pau where it receives its baccalaureat of letters in 1841. He studies medicine with Toulouse, where he receives his baccalaureat in sciences. He continues his studies in Paris in 1844. He gives up medicine in 1848 and leaves Paris to settle with Maubourguet, he devotes himself consequently to entomology.

He is known for his work on the Coléoptère S and the Diptère S. Its collections the dipterous ones are bequeathed to Emile Gobert (? - 1927) that it gives to the entomological Société of France. Its collections of Coléoptère S come in possession from Charles Adolphe Albert Fauvel (1840-1921). Its collections of Hyménoptère S are bequeathed to the national Muséum of natural history of Paris in 1906.
