Louis Low registers

Louis Graves is a Botaniste and a Archéologue French, born in 1791 and dead the June 5th 1857 with Paris.

A long time general secretary of the prefecture of the Oise, it studies the flora of this department and is also interested in his archaeological deposits.

In 1854, he becomes managing director of National Forestry Commission. It contributes to the creation of the geological Société of France and initiates, with Antoine François Passy (1792-1873), with the creation of the botanical Société of France.
