Louis Leménil

Louis Leménil was a French actor born in 1804, deceased in 1872.

It began in province, then came to Paris to be committed in 1827 with the Théâtre of Gaîté. It obtained big hits in the roles of denied and of confused.

It passed then to the Théâtre of the Palais Royal in 1834. Its strident voice, which made well carry its sentences, made it excel in the roles of soldiers.

He Maria with the girl of the MIME Gougibus, Elects-Adrienne, born in 1806, which played then Théâtre of Gaîté, and which passed with him to the Théâtre of the Palais Royal.

In 1850, allured by advantageous offers, they left both in Russia, with Saint-Pétersbourg, where they adapted perfectly, and where they remained 16 years until their retirement. However in 1860, Leménil was in Paris, where he played in two parts of Labiche.
