Louis Junquas

Louis Junquas , was born the September 11th 1920 with Saint Vincent de Tyrosse and deceased the May 23rd 2002. It is a former player of Rugby to XV, which played with the team of France, the US Tyrosse, the Bayonne Aviron and the Lyon OR. It evolved/moved at the station of center three-quarter (1,75  m for 84  kg), and was with the head of the first Five Nations tournament disputed by France post-war period, in 1947… 16 years after our last match in the competition!

It disputed the very first matches of the French resumption of contact to the international level, vis-a-vis the teams of the British army (1945) then British empire (1945 and 1946), and was also match of Swansea in 1948 when France overcame for the first time the Welsh on their grounds.

Shoe-maker then representative of his state, he was member of the Selection committee.
