Louis Ier de Bourbon

Louis Ier de Bourbon , known as Large the or the Lame (v. 1280-1342) was a prince of royal blood French, oldest son of Robert, count of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis (ancestor by the males of the king Henri IV) and of Béatrice of Burgundy, lady of Bourbon. He was thus a grandson of holy Louis.

Louis de Bourbon was Lord de Bourbon, count of Clermont-in-Beauvaisis (1310), Grand chambrier of France (1312), count of Walk and of Castrate (1322), first duke of even Bourbon and of France (1327).

In September 1310, it married Marie d' Avesnes (1280 - † 1354), girl of Jean II of Avesnes, count de Hainaut and of Holland, and Philippa of Luxembourg.
