Louis IV of the Holy roman Empire
Louis IV of Bavaria (v. 1286 - 1347), King of the Romans in 1314 then Germanic Roman Emperor of 1328 with 1347. He was firmly opposed to Papacy, in particular with Jean XXII.
He was the son of Louis II of Bavaria (1229-1294), duke of Bavaria and Mathilde de Habsbourg.
He married Marguerite II of Hainaut, of which he had several children. Their daughter Elisabeth of Bavaria married in 1363 Ulrich of Wurtemberg.
