Louis Hesselin
Louis Hesselin (1602-1662) was an important character at the court of Louis XIII.
Louis Hesselin, lord of Cop, adviser of the King, superintendent of the pleasures of his majesty, Master of his room to the sums of money as from 1626, were the silent partner of a sumptuous private mansion, Quai of Béthune in Paris.
It bound of friendship with the first painter of the King, Simon Vouet (1590-1649).
