Louis Genari

Louis Genari born March 12th 1871 with Nice and dead on January 1st 1952 in this same city is a type-setter author of songs niçoises.

During its higher learning with the Faculty of Law of Aix-en-Provence, he attends writers of language of Provence. He composes early of poetries in French language, but he will very quickly be attracted by the song niçoise, to which he will devote the thirty last years of his life. Lawyer, writer, type-setter, author of 32 songs éditées.
In the district St Roch of Nice, a street bears its name.
