Louis Gallodier

Louis Gallodier is a Ballet master Danseur and French born with Valence (Spain) in 1734 and died of the drop to Stockholm the June 6th 1803.

Wire of Emile Gallodier, itself dancer, Louis belongs to the corps de ballet of the Op3era Comique of Paris until in 1756, working in particular under the direction of Jean-Georges Noverre.

Following a round in Sweden with a French troop, it is engaged at the court of Adolphe Frederic of Sweden in 1757 and composes the Intermède S danced of the Devin of the village , of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, represented with Stockholm the February 9th 1758 by the French actors of the court.

The king Gustave III projects to found a opera with Stockholm and obtains the collaboration of Gallodier, which takes the direction of the royal Ballet Swedish as of 1773. He will compose a score of ballets and interludes danced in the operas.

In 1762, it had married Gasparine Becheroni then, had become widowed in 1784, had been remarié in 1796 with Marie-Louise Dulondel, girl of French actors.
