Biography

With died his/her father occurred in 1641, it inherited the duchy of Calenberg. In 1648, it inherited his/her uncle Frederic of Brunswick-Luneburg of the duchy of Luneburg. It gave the duchy of Calenberg to his young brother Georges II of Brunswick-Luneburg and controlled the vast possession of Luneburg.

He died without posterity, his brother Georges II of Brunswick-Luneburg succeeded to him.

Louis Christian of Brunswick, Luneburg belonged to the Maison of Hanover, resulting from the second branch of the House of Brunswick-Luneburg, itself resulting from the Maison of Este.
