Louis Charles Marie of Trémoille

Louis V Charles Marie of Trémoille was born the March 28th 1863 with Paris and he died the June 17th 1921 with Paris. It is the son of Louis Charles of Trémoille and of Marguerite-Jeanne Tanneguy de Duchâtel. He is thus the grandson of the minister Charles Marie de Tanneguy Duchâtel.

Louis V Charles Marie of Trémoïlle is, duke of Trémoille, prince of Talmont, Tarente and count de Laval.

He was appointed the Gironde of 1906 with 1919. Mayor of Margaux of 1904 with 1919.

Biography

Following its marriage with Miss of Pintail-Will, it was fixed in the Gironde. Its Beautiful family being owner of one of the more great wines of Bordeaux, the Castle Margaux. It takes its first steps in the public life while entering to the municipal council of Margaux of which he becomes mayor in 1904 and to the council of district. he will become later general adviser. He presents himself to the delegation at the time of the general elections of 1906 and he is elected in the 4th district of Bordeaux. He will be re-elected in 1910. Republican of left (it is registered with the democratic left ). He will devote the essence of his mandates to defend the interests of his area: the vineyard of Bordeaux, ostreiculture and the forest landaise. In 1920, it sold the Château Margaux and it died a few months later at the 58 years age.

Descent

He marries on February 1st 1892 Helene Marie Léonie of Pintail-Will, born on January 27th 1875 with Paris and dead on March 24th 1964 with Paris. It is the girl of the count Frederic Pintail-Will, famous banker, and of Jeanne Marie Clotilde Briatte. They had 5 children:

Charlotte of Trémoille, born in 1892 and died in 1971. She married on April 13rd, 1910 Henri Florent Eugene François Joseph Lamoral de Ligne (1881-1967), grandson of the prince Eugene de Ligne.
Marguerite of Trémoille, born in 1894 and died in 1939. She married in 1913 the duke of Blacas Stanislas de Bracas d' Aulps (1885-1941).
Helene of Trémoille, born in 1899 and died in 1972. She married in 1918 the duke of the Rock-Guyon Gilbert of Rochefoucauld (1889-1964).
Antoinette of Trémoille, born in 1904 and died in 1996. She married in 1923 Henri duke of Ursel then in 1934 the marquis de Bonneval Guy Bernard of the Valley (1898-1987).
