Louis Charles Antoine de Beaufranchet

Louis Charles Antoine de Beaufranchet , Count de Beaufranchet d' Ayat, lord of Ayat, Beaumont, Saint-Hilaire, etc, General, wire of Marie-Louise O' Murphy and Jacques de Beaufranchet, is born with the Château from Ayat to Saint-Hilaire from Ayat the November 24th 1757 and dies in Vichy on July 2nd 1812.

He is the cousin and godfather famous general Desaix. Named Brigadier, on September 1st 1792, it assists, in 1793, with the died of Louis XVI. It is shown, wrongly, to have ordered the drum roll during the execution of the king because this act returns to Santerre. Under the Empire, it becomes Député of the Puy-de-Dôme in 1805 and General inspector of the Stud farms in 1806.

Several authors made of him an illegitimate son of Louis XV. This assertion is improbable because the child, born from the loves of Louis XV and of its mistress, the Belle Morphyse , is a girl, born the May 24th 1754, fore-mentioned Agathe Louise de Saint Andre (dead at the 20 years age). However the Beautiful Morphyse wife Jacques de Beaufranchet, in November 1755, and their single son, Louis Charles Antoine is born two years in later 1757.
