The bishop contributes largely to the creation of the Small-Convent or Refuge of penitent, and to the foundation of the hospital-general. He then loses two of the holiest characters of the diocese, Mr. de Gouandour, former companion of the Father Julien Maunoir dead victim of his zeal during the epidemic of 1683, and Mr. de Kervilio, who was become again general vicar in 1677, died the March 21st 1685.

When one demolishes the chorus of the cathedral in 1751, the coffin was transferred in the Saint-Vincent vault, and the vault Holy-Anne not having been remade, it remained there, it must be there still.
