Louis Antoine Sophie de Vignerot of Plessis , Duke of Fronsac , then Duke of Richelieu (1788), prince de Mortagne, marquis of the Bridge-Courlay, count de Cosnac, baron de Barbezieux, baron de Coze and baron de Saugeon, is a French soldier born the February 4th 1736 and died in 1791.

Wire of Louis François Armand de Vignerot of Plessis (1696 - 1788), Duke of Richelieu, Marshal of France, and Elisabeth Sophie of Lorraine-Harcourt, it married in first weddings on February 25th 1764 Adélaïde de Hautefort, of which it had a son, Armand Emmanuel (1766 - 1822).

It remaria on April 20th 1776 with Marie-Antoinette de Galliffet who gave him two girls:

  • Armande Marie (born in 1777) (marchioness of Montcalm-Gozon);
  • Armande Simplicie Gabrielle (born in 1778) (marchioness of Jumilhac).

He was First gentleman of the Room in survival of his father, then Brigadier, then general Lieutenant (1780).
