Louis Andrieux
Louis Andrieux (July 23rd 1840 with Trévoux (Ain) - August 27th 1931 with Paris) is a French politician.
Republican lawyer, Louis Andrieux is imprisoned with the prison Saint-Joseph of Lyon in 1870, lorqu' bursts the riots with the advertisement of the demolished of Sedan. He is released by the rioters and quickly becomes Procureur, then Préfet of the the Rhone.
From now on side of the capacity, it makes repress the insurrection of April 1871 which shakes Lyon following the Commune of Paris. This blow of glare is worth to him to be appointed Prefect of police of Paris, where it shows a rigor without fault.
In 1876, he is elected appointed and will remain it until its death. He is also the founder and the editor association of the Parisian Petit, newspaper popular of the time.
From the 4/1 to the 27/1 1903 he was senator of the Low-Alps.
Louis Andrieux, republican opportunist was one holding of the order, so that he was opposed to the vote women and incarnates an aspect very reactionary of this republican who approached a time the Boulangisme.
He is in addition the natural father of the writer and poet Louis Aragon.
With Forcalquier, a street name names Louis Andrieux.
