Louis-Marthe de Gouy d\' Arsy

Louis-Marthe, marquis de Gouy d' Arsy (or of Arcy) is an officer French born the July 15th 1753 and dead guillotine the July 23rd 1794 after judgment of a revolutionary tribunal following the Conspiration of the prisons.

  • 1768 : Musketeer in the second company of Its Majesty
  • 1770: Lieutenant with the regiment of Besancon of the royal artillery body
  • 1774: Captain ordering the regiment of the Queen, dragons
  • 1782: Mestre of camp as a second of the regiment of the cuirassiers of the king
  • 1783: Captain reformed with the regiment of dragons of the Queen
  • 1786: Admitted knight of Saint-Louis
  • 1789: Colonel with the 2nd regiment of cuirassiers of the King
  • July 26th 1791: Colonel of the 6th regiment of dragons
  • February 6th 1792: Brigadier general
He was general lieutenant, in survival of his father Louis de Gouy d' Arsy , in the government of the Ile de France at the department of Vexin. In 1788 he is knight of Saint-Louis, large baillif of sword of the baillages of Melun and Moret and administrator of the Water-company of Paris. With the elections of 1789, he is elected appointed of Santo Domingo to the General states. Frank mason (Cabin of Frankness) with the East of Paris, he was the assistant of the duke of Chartres, then large Master.
