A document of 1823 evokes new research which promises “advantageous results”: “The layer that they explore on the dimension of Farges, Commune of Louignac, gave samples of several cubic decimetres containing more than 50 copper hundredths.” Of this exploitation there remain nothing if it is not the toponym attesting of a very old exploitation (Source PB IEO Lemosin)
Close from there an underground refuge in very good state of conservation " the cave of the farges" (private property, is not visited)
