Loublande
Geography
Loublande is a commune located at the North-West of the Two-Sevres, with the limit of the department close to the Maine-et-Loire. It depends on the district of Bressuire.
La common of Loublande is located halfway between Cholet and Mauléon, is with ten kilometers of each one of these two cities.
History
Before the French revolution, the parish of Loublande was located in the Mauges in Anjou. The village depended on the Sénéchaussée of Angers. It formed integral part of the parish of Saint-Pierre-of-Échaubrognes the during the communal regrouping carried out in 1823 and of their fastening at the department of the Two-Sevres.
Loublande was attached to Mauléon on January 1st 1973.
Demography
The locality preserved a statute of common partner and counted 732 inhabitants in 1999.
Work began at the end of 2005, in the north of the commune, so that the connection between Nantes and Poitiers and passing by Cholet can be effective.
