Lou Lamoriello
Louis " Lou" Lamoriello , born on October 21st, 1942, is the Chairman and managing director (CEO) of the Devils of the New Jersey in the National league of hockey. It occupies this station since 1987 and is oldest at its station.
Career
- Before joining Devils, Lamoriello was the trainer of the team of hockey of the Providence College since 1968 (Providence Friars) and in 1982, he becomes the director of the sports.
- In 1992, it receives the Trophée To ballast Patrick for the unit of its contribtution for hockey with the the United States.
- In 1998, he is the trainer of the team of the United States of hockey with the Winter Olympics 1998 with Nagano (Japan).
- It played a big role for the resolution of the strike of 2004-05
- on December 19th, 2005, Larry Robinson the trainer of Devils resigns of his station and Lamoriello assumes the transition for all the season 2005-06.
- on April 2nd, 2007, the trainer Claude Julien is congédié, after less than one season with the bar of Devils, and once again, Lou Lamoriello assumes the interim.
