Lou Bega

David Lubega (more known under the name of Lou Bega ) is a Chanteur italiano-sicilio-German born in Munich the April 13rd 1975, of a sicilian mother , and of a African father (Uganda is). At the time of a voyage to Miami which it makes at the 18 years age, Lou discovers the Mambo. It owes its success with the piece Mambo No 5 , instrumental composed by Perez Prado in 1952, which it has samplé , arranged to sauce “Dance”, and to which it added words (song of the year 2000 with the NRJ Music Awards).

Its song Mambo Mambo figure on the original soundtrack of the film Jet set . Its song 1 + 1 = 2 figure on the original soundtrack of the film Stuart Little . Lou Bega takes again the song of the King Louis I wanna Be like you on the video game the Book of the jungle: Groove Party.

It is also quoted in the credits of the cartoon Marsupilami.
