Lothar de Maizière
Lothar de Maizière (March 2nd 1940) is a German politician . He was the last Prime Minister for GDR of the April 12th to the October 2nd 1990 after the first free elections in GDR.
He was born with Nordhausen (ex-GDR) and studied the violin with Berlin. He played in the Symphony orchestra of Berlin before studying the right.
In 1990 it was elected with the Volkskammer GDR as a member of the CDU, during the first and single free elections which the country will have known. He became the successor of Hans Modrow like Prime Minister and preserved this station until the October 2nd 1990, the shortly after the integration of Länder of GDR by the the Federal Republic of Germany.
After the Reunification of Germany, it was named Federal minister with special attributions in the government Christian Democrat. Shown to have worked for the Stasi, it was constrained to resign in 1991.
