Los Angeles Center Convention
The Los Angeles Convention Center (abbreviation LACC ) is a center of convention located beside the Staples Center in the downtown area of Los Angeles in California. With a total of 67.000 square meters of exposure, 13.500 square meters of space and 64 meeting rooms, the center of convention of Los Angeles provides an accessible surface for any event.
The center of convention comprises South Exhibit Hall of 32.300 square meters, which is connected to the 19.573 square meters of West exhibit Hall by a bridge passing on the Pico boulevard.
History
The Los Angeles Convention Center was inaugurated in 1971 and was increased in 1993. It is open in 1971 with 19.573 square meters of space of exposure, 21 meeting rooms and 857 square meters of space of recording. The principal expansion was accomplished in 1993, adding 32.300 square meters of space of exposure, 43 meeting rooms and a theater of 299 seats. Kentia Hall with 15.050 square meters of space of exposure was added in 1997. The same year, the north-eastern part of the center was destroyed to leave room to new the Staples Center.
