Los Alamos
Los Alamos is a city of the State of the New Mexico. It is located at forty kilometers of Santa Fe.
It is especially known for the National laboratory of Los Alamos which accommodated the Projet Manhattan.
It is twinned with the Russian city of Sarov, where the Research center on the nuclear armaments of Russia is established.
One can note that in Spanish, alamos means “poplars”.
