Professional tax

The Professional tax is calculated according to rate fixed in particular by:

  • common S (or community of communes)
  • the general advice (department)
  • the district council

Variation 2005/2006

  • Lorraine Area: + 7,5%
  • Department 54: +7,99%
  • special Tax of equipment: +6,02%

The taxable amounts (figure of the Undertaken S) increased only by 1,7%.

To note that the law of finances 2006 put a levelling off of the professional tax: 3,5%

This law being a shortfall for the Lorraine town councilors, but a tax safety fence for the companies, the two parties disputed on its application.
