Lorin Maazel
Lorin Maazel , born the March 6th 1930 with Neuilly-sur-Seine, is a Leader and American violinist .
Origins and formation
Born in France American parents, Maazel was high in the United States. Child prodigy, it accepted his first lessons of composition at the seven years age and made its beginnings at eight years. Directing as a public with New York as of 1939, it had the privilege to be called at the sides of large the Toscanini to direct the Symphony orchestra of NBC in 1941.
Career
After the end of its studies with Pittsburgh in 1951, it started to direct the most prestigious European orchestras. In 1960, he became the youngest chief - and the first American chief - to direct to the prestigious Festival of Bayreuth, in the Lohengrin of Wagner.Its direction of sound alchemy and its personality does of it one of the chiefs most inspired of its time.
