Lori will noira

The Lori will noira is a Psittacidae pertaining to the subfamily of the Loriinae.

Description

Lori will noira measurement approximately 30 cm and has a plumage with dominant red. The wings and the end of its tail are brown green a yellow spot, more or less extended according to the subspecies, marks the back between the shoulders. Other yellow beaches are also present on the edge of the wings. The nozzle and the irises are orange sharp.

Subspecies

Lori will noira is represented by three subspecies:
  • Lorius garrulus flavopalliatus Salvadori, 1877, with the yellow on the very wide back;
  • Lorius garrulus garrulus (Linnaeus, 1758) with the yellow on the back almost absent;
  • Lorius garrulus morotaianus (Bemmel, 1940) with the yellow on the back bordered of green
