Lorenzo Lippi
Lorenzo Lippi (Florence, May 6th, 1606 - Florence, April 15th, 1665) is a painter and a poet of the school florentine.
He studies painting near Matteo Rosselli, whose style is found in works of Lippi, even if that which influenced it more is Santi di Tito.
Its declared objective was that to make poetry as he spoke and to paint as he saw .
Biography
After having exerted its art for some time with Florence, and after being themselves married, quadragénaire, in Elisabetta, the girl of the rich person sculptor Giovan Francesco Susini, Lippi leaves to Innsbruck as painter court, following Claudia de Médicis, widow of Léopold V of Austria and countess of the the Tyrol. In Innsbruck, where it left many excellent portraits, it starts to write its héroïco-comic poem Malmantile Racquistato , which was published after its death with the pseudonym (almost) anagram Perlone Zipoli . Lippi was rather endowed with car-estimates and when it sometimes happened to him to visit Parma, it did not go to visit Corrège, which resided at it, while supporting that he could not anything have taught to him.He dies of pleurisy with Florence, in 1665, and is buried in the church of Santa Maria Novella by leaving two wire and three girls.
