Lord Howe

Lord Howe is a volcanic island of origin in the shape of crescent. It belongs to the News-Wales-of-South.

Located at approximately 600 km in the east of the Australia, about opposite the Blue Mountains, it is covered with Banians and palm trees kentia which shelter a rare bird: the Ocydrome.

The insulation of this island made it possible to provide very invaluable information on the evolution of these species. Approximately 300 people live there permanently. This island is recorded on the Liste of the world heritage of UNESCO since 1982.

Its name comes from the British Admiral Richard Howe.
