Lonicera tatarica
The chèvrefeuille of Tartarie ( Lonicera tatarica ) is a null and void shrub of the family of the Caprifoliaceae , with port drawn up and buissonnant. Originating in the south of Russia in the Central Asia, it is a very rustic plant.
Description
- the sheets are opposite, long from 2 to 6 cm, oblong or oval form.
- Color: Dark green on the face higher, glaucous with the reverse
- Flowering: May-June. Flowers from 1 to 3 cm length, by pairs. They are tubuaires, made up of 5 lobes, white with pinks, even red, and open out along the growths.
- the bays are scarlet with yellow-orange.
- Size: Up to 4 m in height and 2,50 m in diameter.
