Longnan (陇南; Pinyin: Lǒngnán) is an administrative subdivision of the south of the province of the Gansu in China, having the statute of city-prefecture.

Demography

The population of the prefecture was estimated at: 2670000 inhabitants in 2004.

Administrative divisions

The city-prefecture of Longnan exerts its jurisdiction on nine subdivisions - a district and eight counties  :
  • the district of Wudu - 武都区 Wǔdū Qū   ;
  • the county of Cheng - 成县 Chéng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Dangchang - 宕昌县 Dàngchāng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Kang - 康县 Kāng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Wen - 文县 Wén Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Xihe - 西和县 Xīhé Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Li - 礼县 Lǐ Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Liangdang - 两当县 Liǎngdāng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Today - 徽县 Huī Xiàn .
