The club is based with London and plays in the Causeway Stadium . London Wasps have one of the most beautiful prize lists of English Rugby. The use of an insect as emblem is due to a fashion which had course at the time victorienne, in the clubs of sport, to bear names of insect. One of the founders of the club and the first president was James Pain. It was also one of the founders of the Rugby Football Union on January 26th 1871. If the first place where the club was located were Finchley Road in the north of London, the club moved in 1923 with Sudbury, where it is always based, even if the matches are played Causeway Stadium
