Logos of recycling
Logos, representing a buckles of Möbius, are often used to mark products recycled or being able to be recycled.
This type of logo is sometimes supplied with a comment such as Contient recycled materials , or a figure indicating the percentage of recycled matter used.
Without particular mention, the logo states simply that the product is which can be recycled. Nothing guarantees however that the product is well actually recycled.
The good practices of use of this logo are defined by the international standard ISO 14021 relating to the environmental autodéclarations (1999).
The use of the loop of Moebius is not controlled by a recognized authority. It is under the full one and whole responsibility for the industrialist.
This logo is often confused with the green Point.
