Logan (Valton)

Louis-Xavier Valton , known as Logan , was born with Nantes in 1971.

It starts to work as a gay draftsman with Projet X , magazine of sexualities hardware. Influenced by the American Comic S, it very early privileges the cartoon with the illustration. After two albums “very public” (under the name of Valton), it decides to be devoted exclusively to its adult production like with the animation of its site. Logan holds its name of the character of comics Wolverine that it affectionate particularly.

Its influence comes from great names of the comics and one can quote in particular Mignola, Timm, Byrne, Buscema.

The characters of Logan, their features and their interactions are very particular: “ Power struggle, domination and bestiality are the words which define best the relations than my small urchin maintain between them ”. It is not for nothing if the guys in uniforms are omnipresent (Including here the costume-tie, the costume of superman, etc). Morphology counts for much in the interpretation of the character. Low shoulders, jaw door, physical strapping fellow… it is clear: they are cut for the action, not the kind to take pauses glamors in front of a virtual camera, the mouth in heart.

After Project X , Logan took part in the launching of the series Ultimen (which will comprise only 3 numbers) and now publishes under the label H&O a regular series, Porky , and one-shots (in particular the Pornomicon , kind of is delirious gay on the myth of Cthulhu and the Necronomicon.

Logan is also devoted to its blog and its Web site lodged by MIF.
