Lodi is a Italian city, chief town of the of the same province name in Lombardy.
Geography
History
Of 1118 with 1128, Milan carries out several wars against Lodi and Like; the city comes out from it partially destroyed.
Lodi kept medieval streets with arcades, worked balconies, superb a duomo ( Cathédrale ) and, in a very small street " Incoronata" (a church " municipale" managed by the city) dedicated to the Crowned, octagonal, small Virgin and marvelously decorated. The Museum contains a very beautiful ceramics collection of local production and often very old
The conquest of the bridge of Lodi gave place to the Bataille of the bridge of Lodi, the May 10th 1796, which opens in Bonaparte the road of Milan.
