Lod

Lod (in Hebrew: לוֹד - Lod; in Arab: اَلْلُدّْ - Al-Ludd) is a town of Israel in the center of the country. The population is in 2001 of 66.100 inhabitants.

Lod is near the International airport David Ben Gourion of Tel Aviv.

It is in Lod that is the tomb of Georges de Lydda.
