Visible constellations
Northern side, the Grande Ourse approaches the culmination, framed by Arcturus of the Bouvier and Capella of the Cocher.West coast, the hexagon of winter approaches the horizon with Orion and the Taureau, but the Gemini and Sirius of the Puppy are still high in this sky.
On celestial Ecuador, one can admire the Lion and Alphard of the Hydre.
East coast, the Vierge is quite visible.
In the South, the Navire Argo continues to culminate, being apprétant to yield the place to the Centaure.
Alignments
The meridian alignment which culminates master key in the Grande Ourse by Megrez (δ UMa) and Phecda (γ UMa), the two stars " side manche" " large casserole". This alignment meets Régulus Lion, then Alphard of the Hydre, skirts the axis of the Boussole, to finish on Canopus Carène.Its prolongation towards the South passes through the small constellations of the Peintre, the Dorade and the Réticule to lead to Achernar, terminus of the river Éridan.
