Location

The location consists in finding a place of adequate turning for scenes requiring to be turned in outside or interior apart from the studios. These decorations are known as " naturels" because they are not reconstituted decorations. This research can be carried out by the realizer, by his first, second or third assistant. Since about fifteen years the recourse to technicians specialized in the search for decoration strongly develops. These technicians are called repéreurs. They seek and find the decorations corresponding to the requirements of setting in scene, make sure of technical and practical feasibility turning. They present then the stereotypes of the decoration to the realizer for their validation.
