Local wines of soils landais

Beside the wines of Tursan, the department of the Landes produces local wines of soils to the varied characters.

Presentation

• Wines of Chalosse : in the range of the local wines, the slopes of Chalosse decline a broad pallet of dry wines and marrowy

• Vineyard of sands of the ocean : vineyard fixed on the dunes of the littoral or cultivated in the sandy plains near the ocean

• Vineyard of Fawn-coloured Sands : on fawn-coloured sands of maritime origin open out Colombard, white Ugni, Gros Manseng and Sauvignon

• Vineyard of the Coasts of Adour : located at hillside, the vineyard of the Coasts of the Adour plunges its roots in a basement argilo-limestone and of sand to Gravettes resulting from the close Pyrenees

Part of the Vignoble of the Coast-of-Saint-Mount is on the commune of Aire-sur-l'Adour, in the Moors.
